  • Summer Channel Catfish Techniques -  I talked a bit about the release of the Summer Channel Catfish Techniques book that I released. This is a step by step in depth look into the catfishing techniques I use for catching channel catfish in the summer months. From the baits and tackle I use to detailed information on exactly how I pattern and catch channel catfish during the summer months. This book will not be available after August 1, 2011 or the allotted number of copies has sold. You can learn more about this book at www.summerchannelcatfish.com There is also some recent feedback on people that are using the summer channel catfish techniques ebook on that page. I also talked a bit about the pricing of the summer channel catfish book.
  • Secret Catfish Rig – This is the rig I use almost exclusively for fishing for channel catfish with punch bait and other prepared catfish baits. People that bought the book and have started making and fishing with these catfish rigs are starting to sound off and send in some amazing feedback on how well the secret catfish rig works. You can check out the secret catfish rig or through the sales page at www.catfishingrig.com and you can also read some of the recent feedback and testimonials there.

Building again on the basics where we have talked on the podcast about choosing a catfish rod, choosing a catfish reel, and choosing fishing line and the next step was this catfish tackle basics show. I covered everything but hooks in this show and will cover catfish hooks in a future episode of the podcast.

This segment is all about making sure you are choosing the right catfish tackle when you are gearing up, and if you are an experienced fisherman, pairing down your tackle to make sure that you have only the essentials and the items that you need so you eliminate weight, clutter and confusion.  This is an expansion on the article and video I did when I started the website on my catfish tackle box.

to record really great quality interviews, call them on skype. they won’t necessarily need to download the program to call them, but you will probably have to pay for minutes to call to landline/cell. if you are both using skype then it’s free. there are PLENTY of free programs that you can use to record the call.. just google or youtube “how to record skype calls” for example. it’ll record it in mp3, wav, etc and you will just have to edit it in to your podcast file using an audio editing or video editing program. if you need any help in editing i can do it easily and quickly for free. hope this helps! after my bills are paid i’m buying your catfish rig ebook, I’m losing soo many fish every single night.. very excited! keep up the good job

I wish more people would write sites like this that are actually fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the web, it is rare to read a site like yours instead.
