Next, we talk about the secret catfish rig eBook release from last week and some of the feedback received in regards to the book. Here is a testimonial that came in regarding the Secret Channel Catfishing Rig just prior to us starting the show:

Chad, This is a follow up on the secret catfish rig. Using the same bait (Monster Punch Bait), the same line, the same hooks and same rods and reels we where catching on average 4 to 1 on the secret catfish rig over the other slip corks we have been using. It works very well, I’m going to have to retire the slip corks for a while. We made a variation to use for crappie fishing also. We miss a lot of bites with foam corks but did not lose 1 minnow crappie fishing with the secret catfish rig. Who would have thought it,  a (edited). Knowledge is power and I believe I’ll keep this to myself and my kids and leave everyone guessing.:) Thank for the book and please keep them coming.

Next, I talk a little about the delay getting the summer channel catfishing techniques ebook out and the anticipated release of this book.

This was a great topic. Sometime the basics are things that we don’t think hard enough about. If we do it right the first time and every time it is easy. Thanks for the information. I really enjoyed the podcast.

Very good advice all around. Enjoyed it.

If any suspect rod tip eye damage. Take a cotton Q-tip and rub the end on the inside of the eye. If the cotton finds any roughness/snags it will pull free of the Q-tip.
