With the announcement the other day regarding catfishing radio where Learn To Catch Catfish will begin offering a catfishing podcast so you can listen and catch up on all the latest catfishing action from your ipod, iphone, mp3 player or whatever medium you choose I figured I better go ahead and let the catfish out of the bag regarding the next phase of this project which is Catfishing TV.
Over the last few months we have been working to get the nuts and bolts together behind the scenes to launch Catfishing TV (Catfishing Television) here at Learn To Catch Catfish.
What is Catfishing TV?
Well, people seem to enjoy all of the great catfishing videos we have offered through this website so I got to thinking about how we could really push the envelope and take things to the next level and do some things that have never been done before in the catfishing world and after reaching out to some geeks, we came up with some innovative new ideas to roll out, which involves three different approaches.
Catfishing Videos – Part 1
The first part of Catfishing TV is the catfishing videos like we have provided in the past but over the past year most of the videos I have provided have been instructional videos with me in a controlled environment or in front of white board. We will continue to do these catfishing videos like we have done in the past but are going to begin doing more action shoots filming some red hot catfishing action from the water from my catfish boat. In addition, I have reached out to some other catfish guides and I will be working with them as I have time to go out and shoot some catfishing action with them as well which will be part of Catfishing TV.

Live Broadcasts – Part 2
The second part of Catfishing TV will be a live TV show. You heard me, I said live and in person. Now, this won’t be from the water but will be an internet based live TV show where you can login and ask your catfishing questions and get live real time answers to help you in your quest to catch more and bigger catfish. The TV show will be internet based and you will be able to login and watch live as well as get in on the action by asking your questions, live and in real time. Sometimes it will be myself hosting the show alone and other times there will be a co host (or several co hosts) with me where we will all work together to answer all of those burning questions you have about fishing for catfish. We are going to launch the first show sometime in early 2011.

Live Seminars (Webinars) – Part 3
Last but not least is the live seminars online where you get audio and video presentation live and in person. This will be the closest thing you can get to an on the water guided fishing trip where you learn directly on my boat. This is going to be the best of the best. The really juicy catfishing secrets that nobody else is telling you, again live and in person. I am going to do some of these seminars on my own and some will be done with other catfish guides and people I have confidence in being able to deliver some very valuable information to you about catfishing.
This is the stuff that makes it all go around and come back together again, the inner circle information you are not going to get anywhere else except for spending a LOT of time on the water not catching fish or shelling out hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars fishing with guides.
This is the information that I have debated from day one as to whether I would share it or not.
I am working on getting some sponsors for the webinars so I can offset the cost of doing these and if I am able to get that ironed out it will help to reduce the cost of these webinars. There will be a charge for these because the cost for me to host them is pretty significant and the information that will be shared will be the absolute best of the best. The cost will vary dependent on whether or not I can get sponsorship for them as well as the information being covered and how much preparation work I have to do to hold the online seminars (webinars).

Hi Chad: Just in time for the Holidays. I am going to ask for a webinar or two from the family. For someone who loves to go catfishing, it would be a perfect gift for those who would not be a likely companion on your boat.The next best thing to being there will be your webinars. If someone gives a fisherman or fisherwoman a webinar for the holidays, it would be “the gift that keeps on giving – the whole year long. I believe that you are the type of person who knows that you can reach so many more people via the web, than you would ever be able to go along in your boat. Watching someone catch fish without the “tips and tricks” is like watching golf without a recliner. Having access to your expertise and seeing it applied live is just awesome. It certainly is much better than any fishing show anywhere. I know that this will work for you and benefit all of us who want be better fishermen/women, but don’t have access to guided trips.
Thanks for having the courage to do things right and helping build the sport with a sound foundation.
