Just a short post today. I am pretty beat up and am dog tired (one of my kids had surgery today) so I am going to do a video post today. I have a lot of great articles and posts that are in the works so there should be a flood of posts soon. My goal is to add at minimum one per day.
My good friend Judy Rhoades called me yesterday and we talked for a good while about fishing and other general nonsense and it got me to thinking I needed to post some of these catfishing videos with her. Judy is the president of Diva WOW (formerly Texas Women’s Shooting Sports). The Diva’s promote hunting, fishing and outdoors among women. Judy is one of those gals that could probably out hunt, out fish and out shoot most of the people I know, and is truly a pleasure to call a friend. The only other thing I could say is there is never a dull moment with her or the Diva’s around.
This is a TV show that I filmed a few years back with Judy the Texas Divas called Divas In The Outdoors. The show ran on the Men’s Channel and I think there are still some episodes that run so you might be able to check them out.
The name of this show was “Catfish Contest”. We had two boats full of the Texas Divas that were fishing against each other to see who could catch the most fish. The show was filmed in early Spring when the bite was not in full swing yet but we still had an amazing day of fishing. This video also has some great tips and tricks on different techniques and some information on catfish tackle, rigs, and rods and reels for catfishing.
I have a bunch of other shows that I am working on uploading that I have never put online but I am having a hard time converting them from DVD to computer format so as soon as I get that figured out I will put them on the website. If anyone is especially experienced at video editing please contact me here if you would be willing to lend me a hand!

I am going to get one more post up tomorrow night and then sunday will be kind of a “week in review” post with some additional pieces of information on my posts for the week and some other relevent news and information.
