I recently covered the look back at Learn To Catch Catfish for 2010 and wanted to add one more article with a look back at 2010, and then I promise this is the last one. Shooting catfishing videos whether on or offf the water is something that I really just started doing in 2010. While I had filmed some videos on my boat in the past (like the blue catfish finger munch video) they were pretty rough around the edges and really just impromptu videos that I had been adding randomly on my North Texas Catfish Guide Service catfishing videos page.
I started out making a few videos here in 2010 and received a lot of negative feedback about the quality of the video and lighting so we quickly reset and invested in some new equipment (a Kodak Zi8 Video Camera , tripod, and some other gear) and starting working on getting comfortable with the process of not only shooting these videos catfish videos but editing them as well.

Some of my goals for 2010 are to add more videos to the website and also to shoot more “on the water videos” which is something I have really struggled with. The challenge of running my catfish boat, managing my clients, keeping all the rods and reels baited and in the water, and running a dip net all while trying to keep a video camera going is something that gets pretty challenging.
