I wanted to get some feedback on a few things:
Logo Design
I am curious as to what other people think about these logos. We are still working through revisions and making selections but I am always interested to know what others think about these things! Just click on the thumbnail to view the full sized image.

Just comment below!

I like the second and the fourth ones. Being a female fisherman i like images that are applicable to both genders. Not biased just think fishing isn’t just for men. Those images look the most professional and clean.
#1 – a bit too literal
#2 – not bad, but the graphics leave something to be desired. Wrong colors maybe, or too much going on with the silhouette.
#3 – no. kindofa mix of “eat at joe’s” and a softball jersey.
#4 – this is real close. colors reminicent of a dark river. great balance, but “catfish” is a bit subdued as the main topic.
Personally, I like the typeface of “Catfish” in #2, but the outline/graphic of #4. With some sass to “Catfish” in #4, you probably have a winner
I also like #2 and #4
I like 3 and 4
Four is the best.
I like the one on the header on your home page
I like the logo on your home page. Looks good to go as far as I am concerned.
I would choose the first one, but take out the man and pole. The fourth one would be best on a t-shirt.
I like #4 – great colors and I like the layout of the logo. Nice clean, professional look to it – much better than the current logo. The only thing I’d change would be to bring out the word “catfish” a bit more – perhaps do the typeface in bold or a larger typeface. I can see this logo on a tee-shirt, hat or sticker for the back of my truck.
If you plan to use the logo on merchandise, consider adding “.com” after the word “catfish”
Chad i like #4
i like # 1 AND #4
I’m digging #4.
I too like #4, looks very professional and I think its a good logo for hats and t-shirts as well. I would also suggest a .com afteer the “catfish” to direct people to the site.
#1 and #4. #4 would lend itself to a more commercial use for logos on hats, shirts, boat and car decals etc.
Thanks for the feedback! Most everyone confirmed the direction I already planned to go. Waiting on a couple of revisions and should have it up and running soon.
Use number 4 and work on the color a bit. It is a good piece of art.

Thanks for all the feedback on the logos. I appreciate it!
I for one knows what its like when a puter crashes been there done that, hope everything works out for you. Now I know if everybody be patince with this website and give you time to get ever thing worked out to me this site has been really helpful more than some of the other ones that charge a arm an leg to be on there site.Just keep up the good work be safe be good god bless.P.S. been using your wheat&milo chum bait it really works, thank you,GQ
Hi Chad. Nice to meet you!
The first one and the last one are the best in my opinion. My favorite being the last one. The blues and whites on the last one are spot on!
I wish I had the knowledge and experience to share more wisdom around with you and the other catfish fisherman on your site. But alas, I’m just an seasoned Largemouth Bass fisherman
and these cats are new and uncharted waters to me. My biggest one is a 5 pound Chanel Cat.
Great work with the site Chad. Very impressive indeed. No matter which logo you chose, I’m sure most people will be more concerned with your treasure-trove of information and the friendliness of your members.

I like #4…. the dark blue/circle with the catfish inside… hands down.
