We have a lot going on around here at Learn To Catch Catfish headquarters and I am hard at working trying to get away from my “break” I took at the end of December and early January from doing any updates to the site. I expect to have the next episode of Catfishing Radio up and running next week. This will be the very first episode of Season 2 of the Catfishing Radio Podcast. In addition to the upcoming podcast episodes and Catfishing Quick Tips videos I have a number of other great things in the works and plan on pushing the envelope again in 2012 to take the catfishing world to the next level and continue to maintain the position as the number one resource for catfishing information. I expect to be back to a normal posting schedule by next week at the very latest!
The vast majority of what is done here at Learn To Catch Catfish is done free of charge and I work hard to make sure I can provide good quality useful information for anglers out there, regardless of skill level, and will continue to do so. Publishing all of this information comes at a cost though and the costs to keep everything online and running continues to increase every single month. To offset these costs I occasionally release paid products and use the proceeds from these products to help offset the costs of keeping everything online, as well as the tools that are needed to keep everything going.
Some of these products are the Secret Channel Catfish Rig e-book, the Jug Fishing 101 course and the How To Make The Best Catfish Juglines e-book (you can find all of these on our products page.
In 2011 I released an e-book called Summer Channel Catfish Techniques and ever since then have received emails on a daily basis from anglers wanting more of the same information for different times of the year. I toyed around with releasing several other products including one on fall and winter blue catfish and one on trophy blue catfish but just couldn’t get myself together to get them completed with everything I had going on.
The Summer Channel Catfish Techniques book will be released again in late Spring of 2012 and will be available for purchase then.
Spring Blue Catfish Techniques
Fishing for blue catfish in the spring is without a doubt one of my favorite times of the year for fishing for catfish. It’s pretty hard to beat. The numbers of catfish that can be caught are nothing short or amazing and the type of fishing is hands down probably the most fun you will ever have. Most people that fish with me don’t believe how and where we are going to fish when we pull up to start fishing these areas.
I decided to bite the bullet and get myself together and get a program together for spring blue catfish to release in February 2012 in time for the spring blue catfish bite. Just like the other products this is an in depth step by step guide to walk you through everything you need to know to locate and catch blue catfish in the spring months.
The places you can catch these fish and techniques will absolutely blow your mind.
The video below is a short teaser into what you can expect for action during the spring months. Once the program is available it will be announced here on the website as well as on the spring catfish page I created. You should also make sure you are signed up for the Catfishing Secrets Newsletter to get an early announcement on the release, and you might even get a discount code as well!
Watch the video, it pretty much sums it all up!

Can’t wait that video got me fired up. Keep up the good work.
Chad;
Like Norm above, I’m mentaly ready to get out there. As Norm said; “Can’t wait that video got me fired up”, is a fact. Instead, I’m having to wait out this cold, and rainy spell. Oh well, now I’ve got time to get my gear together, and in order.

Enjoyed the clip Chad
Grant:
LOL. That was never my style of music but, I can see where it would be appropriate while fighting that “huge” catfish. I think your spot on Grant.
Chad, Grant, what is the title/artist of that song? I may just have to go and buy it if it’ll help me catch the numbers and size as Chad’s lol.
It’s getting better out there every day now.
Not sure its something I bought online for .99 cents
