Winter Catfishing Action Video

With the holidays approaching I have not been posting much. I’m still working on a tremendous amount of content that I’ll be sharing with the Catfishing Secrets mailing list in the very near future.

I’ve finished two ebooks that will be given away to the email subscribers.

The first of these books is on catfish rods and reels and everything you need to know. It covers everything from choosing a rod and reel to everything you need to know to get setup correctly. The second free ebook is on catfish tackle and gear and a good overview of all the gear you need to get started and exactly what you use everything for.

There are several more free ebooks and in depth tutorials in the works also as well as a TON of catfishing tips articles that will be exclusively to the mailing list also.

In addition, I’m working on getting season 3 of Catfishing Radio recorded. These podcasts will be released after the first of the year.

Winter Catfishing Action Video

When I got the responses to the 2012 Learn To Catch Catfish Survey there were a ton of requests for me to post some occasional catfishing videos showing the fishing action.

While I am constantly posting catfishing videos most of the videos I post are “how to” type videos. This is partly because I get so many requests for “how to” fishing videos.

The other reason I don’t post a lot of action videos is it is difficult for me to film video and do everything else I need to do while I have clients fishing with me. Dealing with filming video while trying to bait hooks, keep rods in the water, take fish off the hooks and everything else involved is a major chore to try to keep up with.

I also hate video editing.

Due to all the requests for some action videos in the survey, I have started trying to do a better job running my GoPro camera while I am fishing and will try to post some more action videos now and then.

I’ve captured several hours of action footage in recent weeks and here is one of the promised action videos.
